Wild Horses will be gentled (which refers to the ability of the Mustang to accept a halter and lead rope and to be handled in-hand) and offered for adoption by competitive bid, with a minimum bid of $125 during the "Mini-Adoption". Through the hard work and patience of volunteers, the Mustangs will be exposed to gentle methods of training to accept a halter, lead line and handling by people as they transition to life in a domestic habitat. Each horse will reach its own milestone in the training process, so the level of training and experience will vary at the time of adoption.
Volunteer Gentlers:
Brent and Stacie Huyett, Michelle Kostrzewa, Toni Hazen, Jeannie Yobst, Rick Young, Kari Babcock, and Jeremy Hurd.
